The show is an extremely colorful 30-minute event with Montréal-based choreographer Sylvain Emard, featuring 200+ performers of all ages and backgrounds. A line dance extravaganza filled with contagious community spirit, a show not to be missed. Le Grand Continental originally featured sixty amateur dancers. Since then the show has tripled in size, most recently presented in the historic center of Mexico City with movement inspired by Latin social dancing. It's now in Philadelphia!

Submit an Event

 

 

January 2012:

To add or correct a listing on phillydance.org follow the sequence in the appropriate section below, without being concerned about the typeface size, style or font, but leave out the descriptive labels. Example: 215-643-4397, not Phone: 215-643-4397.

Events must include participatory dancing to be listed. Please read the category descriptions to find the suitable template to use, and send by in the formats below. (Please do not send the information as an attachment document.)

Allow at least one week for posting to appear on the website.

Special Events: this section is meant for an events that are special or unusual, such as a one-time event, an ongoing event where the time or day may be different each time, a special band or teacher, or a holiday event. Although there are occasional exceptions, an organization can only have one special event listed a month.

Leave out the descriptive labels. Example: your submission might look like this: $10, not Admission: $10. (So, think about writing over the descriptive labels below.)

Seven Day Guide: for ongoing participatory dance events, where someone can arrive or leave as they wish rather than a class/lesson setting.
